What it is (factually)

Zhipu AI (ζ™Ίθ°±AI) is one of China’s most prominent academic-origin AI labs. It spun out of the Knowledge Engineering Group (KEG) at Tsinghua University, Beijing β€” China’s most prestigious engineering university. Its product family is built on the GLM (General Language Model) architecture, an alternative to the more common Transformer decoder architecture used by GPT and others.
