What it is

Apple Intelligence is Apple’s AI capability layer built into iOS (iPhone), iPadOS (iPad), and macOS (Mac). Unlike ChatGPT / Gemini / Copilot — which are cloud-first chat products — Apple Intelligence is a system-wide AI that lives inside the apps you already use: Mail, Messages, Notes, Photos, Siri, Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Safari.
