Gotchas
- The free plan’s 3-minute limit is very restrictive. Barely enough to test — one short video.
- Custom personal avatars require Enterprise. If you want to create an AI version of your own face, this isn’t available on consumer plans.
- The script → video paradigm means no improvisation. Everything must be scripted in advance. Great for consistent content; not for off-the-cuff communication.
- Language quality varies. English, Spanish, French, German are excellent. Some of the 140+ languages have noticeably lower quality for lip sync and voice.
- Rendering time for long videos. Videos over 5 minutes can take 20+ minutes to render.
