For each letter, open the corresponding file. Inside each file, entries are listed alphabetically. Most entries are 1–4 sentences; for deeper coverage, follow the “see also” link to a textbook entry.

Conventions for glossary entries

### {Term} ({optional acronym expansion})
 
{1–4 sentence definition in plain English. Bold the term in its first appearance if it's an acronym so the expansion is easy to scan.}

How to add a new term

  1. Identify the letter the term starts with.
  2. Open {letter}.md and insert the new entry alphabetically.
  3. Add a “See also” pointer to any related textbook entry.
  4. If the term needs a full textbook entry, create one in the appropriate section and link to it.
